ABOUT ARTRA Ltd
Over the last 9 years ArtrA has been developed to address all aspects of post design in the
Building Construction and Process and Power Industries, particularly in the areas of construction,
commissioning, maintenance, and facility management.
Artra’s development is an ongoing process, driven by Client interaction and feedback,
as well as from working on live projects. These working relationships have provided
valuable knowledge which in turn has led to an efficient working application.
Our main aim is to produce an application that helps get work done; not based on theoretical planning
or estimating, but designed to show actual data as the project progresses.
Information is gathered at the workplace and is organised in a controlled database linked
to a 3D model. This provides the work force with a central repository for all project data
and documentation.
Once the asset is ready for handover the ArtrA Database can be exported,
along with the linked documentation, to the owner of the asset.
ArtrA is a ‘Tool Kit’ of functional routines that can be setup to meet any project requirement
whether it is 4D, 5D, 6D, etc, as well as meeting any BIM requirement. One oil company described
this as ‘utopia’, however we feel that work is ongoing, but that continuing to work with
clients from a variety of industries will help us reach this goal.
ArtrA is rapidly gaining a reputation as a leader in the Health Care sector in Europe.
ArtrA is suited to large and small scale healthcare projects where construction teams must deal
with significant compliance challenges, tight deadlines and complex buildings. On our largest
project, ArtrA is managing over 1 million data fields and tracking 65,000 construction defects.
The ArtrA ‘Team’ originated from the petrochemical industry, initially working on the drawing
board before moving to the first 2D Autocad system and then on to the 3D Intergraph CAD program.
Experience also includes site work on both onshore and offshore projects around the world.
This unique knowledge of various 3D CAD systems together with hands-on site experience has been an
invaluable asset in the development of ArtrA, particularly for Corrosion Monitoring in the Process
and Power sector.
We believe that the variety of our clients has helped us provide a platform that is both
flexible and robust. We also have a proven track record of success and stability which is
longer than any of our competitors. ArtrA’s aim is to stay ahead by continuing to work and
listen to our clients’ wants and needs.
