| ARCHITECTURAL BIM FOR CMS & ALM ArtrA works with any of the leading CAD/BIM applications using their native file formats or interoperable IFC files. Intelligent BIM attributes are linked to ArtrA's SQL database and used for construction management (progress/snagging/reporting etc.) on-site by engineers using tablet PC's. The FFE (Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment) information and documentation that is compiled and used for installation and compliance is held in ArtrA's SQL database and handed over to the Facilities Management team for use in asset lifecycle management.
BUILDING SERVICES Construction companies are routinely commissioning coordination models in an effort to reduce conflicts between disciplines before the project is on-site. ArtrA uses these building services (MEP, M&E) models for construction and facilities management. The models are usually created using intelligent CAD applications such as CADDUCT, CADPIPE, Revit MEP, Graphisoft MEP Modeller etc. all of which are compatible with ArtrA. The attributed intelligence contained in the models is populated into ArtrA's SQL database and made available in for Asset Lifecycle in a non-CAD format.
MULTI-DISCIPLINE BIMS On medium to large scale multi-stakeholder projects, BIMs are created by several companies using different CAD applications to design & engineer the key architectural, structural and building services disciplines. ArtrA has the capability to manage all disciplines and CAD systems in a single environment. ArtrA takes the BIM out of the design office and puts it to work on-site in a construction management role, and then later for asset lifecycle management.
