CORROSION MONITORING
ArtrA will show
the results of corrosion surveys as in 3D and colour coded according
to a set of project defined parameters for schedule & wall
thickness (normal/marginal/critical) etc. These flexible reports
provide engineers and owners with a powerful visualization tool
that identifies and locates critical problems
4D PLANNING
& PROGRESS REORTS
ArtrA can be used
as an effective 4D planning tool during construction fit-out.
Most 4D models do not deal with the fit-out phase in detail due
to the complexity of the process and the demands this would place
on the model. If all the 'fit-out' activities were to be included
the result would be an exceptionally long and unmanageable Gantt
chart'. ArtrA 4D Planning
starts where most 4D models end. ArtrA uses a 'room-based' approach
to planning fit-out which reflects real-world processes and is
less demanding on the model. By this method ArtrA can be used
for detailed planning and monitoring as well as tracking the interfaces
between various trades and sub-contractors.
REAL-TIME
DATA AS ACTIONABLE INFORMATION
ArtrA has a unique capability of
providing operators with a graphical 'dashboard' by displaying
the real-time data collected from ‘sensors’ on the
servers/racks in 3D.
THEMATIC
REPORT PROCESS
In fig 1. ArtrA is displaying the model using the colours defined
in the CAD model. A number of ArtrA tags have been dropped onto
all of the rooms; one of which is a 'New Room Status' tag.
In fig 2 ArtrA
is showing a thematic colour coded view of the same model with
the 'Room Status' colour coded in accordance with pre-set colours.
Fig 3 shows a tag
input form used to capture Room Status on-site. An engineer inspects
& monitors the room (circled) using ArtrA iTracker on a tablet
PC. The latest information is entered via a simple tag-input form.
The inspection company, date, percentage complete and next inspection
date are also captured.
In fig 4. the
Room Status report is re-run the room turns from light blue (work
in progress) to dark blue (work completed). The rooms that have
not been started are clearly shown in red - about 40%.
