ARTRA ADMINISTRATOR
The Administrator
module is used to set-up, configure and organise projects and
is where the management of models, users, disciplines, tags and
documents takes place. The Administrator consists of two parts
(System & Projects) and provides comprehensive functionality
for the following :.
- Server Management
- Document Settings
- User Management
- Database Manager
- Project Configuration
- Categories & Tags
- Project Models
- Links & Colours
A key benefit of
the Administrator is that it provides powerful tools to control
and customise projects, without the requirement for specialist
programming skills.

1.
PROJECT CONFIGURATION
ArtrA Administrator's Project Configuration section enables to
you to structure your basic project information. From here you
can access the Property Manager, Library Manager, Project Disciplines/User
Disciplines, and Document/Tag Categories.
PROPERTY
MANAGER
The Property Manager is where you set up and edit any type of
intelligent data you want to add to your 3D model. Properties
are the building blocks of ArtrA Tags and can be Short Text, Dates/Times,
Whole Numbers, Decimal Numbers, Masked Text, Sequenced Values,
Validation Lists, and more.
LIBRARY
MANAGER
The Library Manager allows you to create and edit your document/tag
libraries. It also enables you to assign disciplines to specific
libraries for further information control.
DISCIPLINES
& USER DISCIPLINES
The Disciplines/User Disciplines commands enable you to create
and edit disciplines and assign users to specific disciplines
to control what specific users can see. For example, if you were
to create an HVAC discipline you could assign all the HVAC data
(docs & tags) to be only visible to the users under the HVAC
discipline.
DOCUMENT
& TAG CATEGORIES
The Document Categories
and Tag Categories sections allow you to define the ArtrA tags
in order to start adding properties and also to create categories
for documents in the project library.
2. CATEGORIES
AND TAGS
The Categories
and Tags section enables you to control the properties associated
with ArtrA tags as well as assign disciplines to further control
the editing/viewing of documents, tags, and categories.
- Assign document categories to
disciplines
- Assign tag categories to disciplines
- Assign properties to document
categories
- Assign properties to tags
3.
PROJECT MODELS
The Project Models section is where you add and manage the 3D
models for your project. From here you can add models, edit model
info, update model files, remove models, and suspend models. You
can also assign Models to specific project libraries and/or user
disciplines for further control.
4. LINKS
AND COLOURS
The Links and Colours section allows you to link colour coding
to ArtrA tag properties. From here you create colour associations
by assigning colours to specific property values and then link
that colour scheme to ArtrA tags in the model. This enables ArtrA
with the capability to create a wide range of colour-coded management
reports
