TRACKER & iTRACKER
ArtrA offers two trackers; ArtrA Tracker and ArtrA iTracker (Enterprise only). The standard Tracker must be connected (physical/wireless) to the network at all times, whilst the iTracker is designed to be used in the field or on-site running on mobile devices such as the Motion F5 tablet PC's. Both applications can be used with ArtrA enterprise, but the iTracker cannot be used with ArtrA Desktop.
FUNCTIONALITY
Artra Trackers offer the same functionality as the ArtrA Archiver, except that it is not possible to create new links for document or tags. Trackers include an Active-X Navisworks viewer that allows the results of interrogations and searches to be displayed in 3D. Users can view, search, and update any intelligent information the Project admin has added to the model including attached documents, tags, maintenance or inspection tasks, etc. The main functionality includes:

- Search the model attributes
- Search the model for specific objects, equipment, rooms etc.
- Search ArtrA tags
- Search for attached documents
VIEW
DOCUMENTATION
Tracker enables you to view all the documents attached to objects
in the model without leaving ArtrA. It ends the need to dig through
boxes, storage closets, or file cabinets to find the relevant
documentation for equipment in your facility. Simply double-click
the attachment when on an object and the document opens for quick
access to O&M manuals, reports, detail drawings, etc.
VIEW AND UPDATE ATTACHED TAG DATA
ArtrA Tags enable you to add any intelligent information to objects
in the model. Common uses for tags include maintenance schedules,
manufacturer details, punch lists, object status, etc. Attached
tag information can be searched and exported as well as colour-linked
to provide real-time visual data within your 3D model.
POWERFUL SEARCHING FEATURES
ArtrA Tracker's powerful search function allows you to quickly
find and isolate any information in your 3D model. ArtrA's drill-down
searching makes it easy to filter searches on specific CAD model
attributes, attached documents, and tag properties.
QUICKLY GENERATE REPORTS
Export the search results list directly from Archiver for Take-offs
and BOM reports. Select which model attributes to include and
the format
ARTRA TRACKER(S)
ArtrA Trackers support
a multi-user client server environment and are used by a range of
personnel both in the field and in the office. Trackers are used
for construction management during fit-out out and for Facilities
Management (FM) during the asset lifecycle phase. Trackers are used
for data capture of punching, snagging, installation & commissioning
information of plant and AEC facilities. Trackers provide the point
of access to complete plant documentation and information whilst
in the field.
