TAGS LINKED TO ATTRIBUTES
An unlimited number of tags
each containing an unlimited number of properties and information
can be added to a single attribute. This enables ArtrA to turn
3D models, with limited intelligence into data rich BIMs that
can be used for construction and lifecycle management.
ArtrA tags can be used in various ways to add new project information during design and construction;
data capture in the field; support the various processes
used on process plant and AEC projects including:
- Snagging &
line punching
- Progress monitoring
- Inspection & maintenance
- Material take-off
- Commissioning
- Data capture of corrosion monitoring results
TAG INPUT
FORMS
Tags become available in the field
from a (discipline driven) list when an item in the model has
been selected. There can be several tags associated to a single
object according to the number of processes involved (fig 1.).
Once selected a TAG-INPUT-FORM ‘pops up’ containing
all the properties and data fields that must be completed by the
field engineers.
EASY TO
USE - POWERFUL POTENTIAL
ArtrA tags can be defined and
managed without any specialised programming skills, and can be
organised into disciplines to categorise, manage and create meaningful
reports. Once a new tag is defined it is dragged &
dropped onto the results of a search using Librarian. Each tag
contains properties defined in the 'Property Manager'. Some properties
are populated by CAD attributes, others consist of new data.
TAG &
PROPERTY TYPES
A property is defined
as one of eight 'types': Short Text | Date/Time | Whole Number
| Decimal Number | Masked Text | Yes/No | Sequenced value | Memo/Long
Text. Once defined, the properties are assigned to a tag
.
MAKING
THE MODEL WORK HARDER
ArtrA puts the power and
intelligence of 3D process plant models and building information
models into the hands of the construction and maintenance teams.
It can be used on office-based hardware or on tablet PCs
in the field.
