MAINTAIN THE BIM WITH ARTRA
Most construction firms do not own the CAD applications used by the architectural, structural & building services disciplines, or have the trained personnel to use them. As a result most models tend not to be updated. Using ArtrA the models can now be maintained by the construction team to a high standard that can not be matched by a professional CAD system.
FIT-OUT
Because most of
the information required for fit-out is often unknown during the
design phase, it is not generally included with the BIM. By the
time it does become known the project is on-site by which time
it is too late to have the BIM updated using CAD. ArtrA solves
this problem through its flexible functionality, tags and properties
which enable detailed fit-out information to be captured and maintained
through simple tag-input forms.
HANDOVER
ArtrA provides a new set of tools for keeping the BIM updated so that it can a) contribute to the construction process, b) contain as-built fit-out and room data information and c) be handed over to the O&M team and be used during the building's lifecycle.
